Ninja Sports Manufacturing has been providing safe and durable Ninja Warrior equipment to gyms across the USA since 2013 and now we want to bring it home, here to Medina to share with our community through Ninja Sports Entertainment!
First there was one company, Custom Design Crafts LLC. Brian Troche Sr. would make little things like custom chess sets for people and sell them on etsy in his spare time. He had passion for creating and inventing new things and then would sell them in between working as a machinist and taking care of his family; wife Jamie Troche and 2 kids Brian Jr and Alicia. As he started realizing that making new things for people was exciting and way more fun that working in a machine shop all day he also noticed this new show on TV called American Ninja Warrior and thought, “I bet I could do that, it looks fun and could keep us all fit if we did it together!” So we all started going to parks and looking for ways to practice ninja type fitness.
As the sport started growing, again Brian thought “I bet if I started making some custom obstacles people would buy them because there is no where to train for this stuff right now!” So that’s what he did. He continued his hobby of making things in the garage and started hanging up obstacles for the kids to try and play with together. Then we started letting small gyms know about it. Then we made a website. Then we started advertising. All the while, American Ninja Warrior on TV was becoming increasingly popular. Gyms started opening up just for training to be the next American Ninja Warrior. Pretty soon, Custom Design Crafts had to grow and Ninja Sports Manufacturing was born.
Ninja Sports Manufacturing turned out to be very successful because every one started to love the show American Ninja Warrior and in turn started wanting to train to become the next star. So people started to make homemade obstacles and courses and started training. These small courses turned into gyms and then they started needing better equipment for the amount of dedicated ninjas they now had. So we started providing just that. Along with only a couple other companies who were even capable of creating the custom, intricate designs that some of these obstacles required, we got busy…really busy. So Brian with the support of his family decided to make Ninja Sports Manufacturing his full time career. With a little more time opened up we were able to expand the business into what it is today and by being able to delegate some of the tasks of owning a business, Brian and his wife Jamie decided they wanted to get back to the basics of where it all started, having fun with the kiddos. So Ninja Sports Entertainment was born.
Ninja Sports Entertainment is a company that is dedicated to providing Medina County and surrounding areas with a fun safe way to enjoy the sport of Ninja. We want to bring the sport that we have been all over the country enjoying home, to share with our community. So we decided for now we are going to start by doing this 2 ways. One way, with the Ninja Sports Youth Program where kids from the ages of 6 through 12 are going to be able to learn the sport, practice safe skills to conquer those obstacles they see on TV and at the same time learn important life skills such as being a team player, a good sport, helpful and kind to those around them. The second way we are bringing the sport of ninja to our community is to start renting out ninja equipment for events like birthday parties, team building events, religious gatherings, even backyard bbq’s and random days of fun.
So here we are today and we couldn’t be more excited to grow our business into something the entire community can enjoy with us!
